Jeni Ray: The name Spirit Dog encompasses why working with animals and particularly dogs is my passion. Like a Spirit Animal, Spirit Guide or Animal Totem, there's no other companion animal quite like a dog. Our unique interspecies relationship has evolved over thousands of years into beautiful and mutually beneficial individual relationships with each dog in our life. Dogs have become our family members, and we have become part of their pack. It's a loving bond that transcends species, and yet we're able to communicate with and learn from one another, sometimes better than with other humans. To be able to work with dogs every day, form those special bonds, enrich their lives, and lengthen their time with us is an absolute pleasure. As Mrs. Bucket (it's Bouquet!) says, "I love dogs. I'm never happier than when I'm frolicking with dogs!"
